"stuck"?? Not sure what you mean. As you can see from this photo taken in September 2005, MS builds a lot of different cars. Total production at that time was approximately 1,000 vehicles per day. 23/day of those were MB Gwagens. The E-Class 4matic has since been moved to Stuttgart. Is it because the car companies are paying for cheaper materials to be used? If so, it's because Saab and BMW spec them that way. MagnaSteyr is a contract auto builder. They contract to build the vehicles to the car companies' specifications. Here's a link to the page that shows many of the vehicles that have been built in Graz. http://www.magnasteyr.com/cps/rde/xchg/SID-3F57F7E5-4D21986B/magna_... Click on the double arrow to scroll through 21 images. You'd be amazed at what's been built there. The picture is not in that series of photos, but that wild looking Audi Quatro TT sports car was designed from the ground up and built in Graz. Just about every 4wd and all wheel drive vehicle in the world can trace some of its roots to that facility. They are the best!

he is the governator. That is really amazing that so many cars were built in Graz. I wasn't aware of so many companies employing them. I thought it was just DaimlerChrysler. Great info.
