availability of SWB 463 G's in the US

Anybody know what these rare trucks go for and where the heck can you find them? It seems europa has a few cabrios but no actual SWB hardtops. I have only seen one or two SWB 463 trucks for sale by private party recently (within the last year). I know they are rare and all but you would think that one would pop up on clubg or ebay... Its not that im planning on going out and buying one anytime soon but I would like to keep my eyes on the market for a future purchase

Yeah, I have only seen one or two also! I think the last one that was in good shape went for high twenties! I think it was a 91?

This goes back maybe a year but I saw a 2000 or so black SWB G500. It had average mileage (approx. 50k) and they wanted like 50 grand for it from what I remember. Could have been higher. It said there was something like only 30 or so trucks like it brought in from like 98 to 2002. Can anybody back this up?

Not too long ago, Europa had a blue 1990 300GE SWB that was for sale. That vehicle is no longer on their site. I am not sure how much it sold for (assuming it sold since it is no longer on the site).

I don't know how much the blue one was, but I remember that the tan one they had before it was about 30k, maybe a bit more. (2-3k)

The green one looks like the one that was from Copley- as a matter of fact its the same guy. Not on his website now but it was a few months ago, must have sold since then.

Adoni,

The background photo of the Green SWB from the link you provided above is of Copley Motorcars storefront which is shown on their website below.

Also G1979, did you buy your SWB from a dealership in Virginia?

Respectfully,

Re: availability of SWB 463 G's in the US

I purchased a '99 for my wife 19 months ago from Europa. Low mileage mint all systems working. It has only needed new brakes. Most troublefree Benz I have owned. My wife and I have put 21K on it. Paid around 50K. Would do again in a heartbeat.
