Yeah the price is great. But I dont know what to do with such car. It is in too rare, and in too good condition to be (ab)used as an regular offroad. Not to mention it would be better to keep it in original contition, than customize it for offroading with things like winch, snorkel or ORC lift. A 90 300GE is much better for this. The other option is to use it as a daily driver, but with fuel consumption of 25l/100 km+ this seems even worse. Last week the fuel price went over 1E, in near countries like Czech republic and Austria it is just over 0.90E. A 7l/100 km VW seems much better.

Drive it for a few months and when you get bored of it offer it for sale in Western Europe or the US.... you'll probably make a tidy profit and have had the fun of having driven it.

Yeh, that's the theory. And then you never have the guts to part company with it!

Luky - 3/12/2007 2:16 AM They are asking 500 000 CZK or about 17200 Euro. Not a bad price. I dont know what is the switch for, has so many switches I have not even noticed it is special.

That is a nice vehicle for that price, even for European pricing.  I love the colour.  My only concern is the high mileage; but if it is up to date on service records and clean, the mileage should not be an issue.  Are you planning on purchasing this G?  What kind of taxes/fees with you have to pay in the Czech Republic to register the vehicle for the road?  Again, if you decide to buy this 'G'em, congratulations!

Yes I want to buy, but need to put the money together. I did not plan to buy a car just two weeks ago I found it when I was looking for a G for my friend.
The car has the European certification, so only very low registration fees(registration plates, emission control, translation of Czech documents to Slovak language and official fee) about, 13000 Slovak Crowns, thats about 500 USD.
