I know Alan has one just down the road from me and I know there is a black one floating around, but beyond that? Did Europa import any, or were they all done by Norm Keiser or individuals? Do most of them have pretty high miles? Do they ever come up for sale. I'd probably buy one given the opportunity, however slim that opportunity might ne.

G&K Automotive did the federalization. Passable job, some mistakes. Conveniently the were each a different color: black, silver and green (mine). I've been unable to keep track of who owned the others. The black one was in the Seattle area. Leads would be appreciated. ...Alan

I know it is 177 hp, but oddly enough as this is a diesel, no one ever mentions the torque number.

It's got the instrument cluster for gas version (from a W124) rather than the cluster for the diesel (from a W210). I haven't looked at the manual in a long time, perhaps they made one manual for both the diesel and the gas.

In version D of the owners manual, G320, G300DT and G500 are combined. I see the suffix now. The manual that I have (ex: "Interieur" 463 584 53 96 Ausgabe A) seems to cover the G320 too. It only seems to show pictures of the G300DT though. 96 was a wierd transition year where different models had very different electronics.

Norm Keiser tried to resell both cars for them but was unable due to high ask prices. The diesel finally sold, and I believe it is now in Napa county, CA. Alan, as you all know has the green one. And the silver one was sold to a person in Oakland CA. It was up on Craigslist.org about a year ago with over 150k miles on it, so it had been getting some use since Norm imported it that's for sure. Not sure if it ever sold.
