Difference between 102.981 & 102.982?

Do anyone know and can explain the difference between engine 102.981 & 102.982 for me?

Wasn't one Fuel injected and one carbuerated? I know there was two 230 models, one with a higher specific output than the other.

Sorry, should have told this to.

I have 102.981 in my 230 GE -85 witch has injection and some more hp than the older 230 G with carburetors.

All I know about the 102.982 is that it's an -88.
I have no idea if it's from a G or an passenger car.

102.982 is most likely from a passenger car.

I know only of: 961, 985, 979 and 989
