Bilstein rear shock nut question

Can somone advise me whether 1 nylon lock nut is used or 2 nonlock nuts are used on the Bilstein rear shocls upper mount ?....or does it really matter?
I am changing shocks and the Non-Bilsteins that are on have 2 nuts but they do not fit the Bilstein for which I am installing to but I have no nuts.( I bought them 5k mile used and and none came with them).
Thanks

RE: Bilstein rear shock nut question

IMO a nylock nut would be prefferable.

My Bilseins have single nylon nuts. The double nut is old school.
