Diesel and Evans Coolant

Well folks, next week my engine will be back and all brand new. New head, pistons, rings, con rods, cylinders and well it is new again.
I am going to put in the Evans coolant. They say that you have to be careful about water but this will have 0 water in it so that is ok.
Second is they say you want a radiator with 1/2 in tubing so over the summer I will get one made. Only an issue in 20F or less.
The 3.5 Diesel seems to have over heating issues so this should fix that.
I will update you all..

RE: Diesel and Evans Coolant

I have heard that there is also a larger (higher flow) water pump that is available for this engine. Might be a good invenstment.

If there is a Higher flow water pump for a 350G I would get it.
The Evans stuff seems to do a lot to stabilize heating
I will keep people updated.

Well I ordered my Evans Coolant and it will be installed this week when the new motor goes in. It will be nice to see how it works.
I was a bit up and down on using it till I saw that it was rated for Aircraft. That kinda told me it should be OK..
So next weekend we should know how the whole thing is running..
Pics soon
