KERR Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | TC switch faliure again... So my wifes junk armada is in the shop yesterday to get the seat, flat tire signal, cup holder #12-13 replaced and to see why the rear end sounds like it s going to fall out... ( picture netural dropping at 5Krpms.. sounds like what that would but it does it at idel going from drive to reverse or park to reverse) Anyway she walks in and says " im going to run some food to girls incorporated ill be back in 5 min" Take the G as is gone... Once back i go to leave and when i open the door BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP... TC IN NETURAL.... Im like ok, push the H and nothing happens.. push the low nothing happens. So in the hole 5 mins and 1 mile my wife drive the G she borke it again... So the question is, is there a reset on this or did it just break again for no reason... this will be my 4th switch if its broekn...

Kerr, dont you think it is strange that the G is used by militaries all over the world and subjected to abuse of both the elements and those who drive them as a "tool" or "company truck" ( and we all know how well most company trucks are treated) but yet, the old lady drives it and it comes back broke. Actually the second my wife touched my air conditioning it stopped working for some reason. I think it's an estrogen thing. MB230s Kerr and my 027s were separated by less than a month on build dates. I had this problem more than 5 times between my two now defunct 02's. I have never had it on the 05 and I am much rougher on the 05. I also note that when the brain was replaced on the grey 02 It stopped happening but the silver one never was completely fixed. As I recall if you put the vehicle in neutral, press the H for 10 seconds (and click your heels three time repeating there is no place like home.....sorry), the whole system resets. I had to do this once a month in the silver one when I got tired of taking it in on the weekends I used it.

DAMN YOU KERR AND MARCO! Murphy's Law hit me. After 50K miles on all my original TC parts I got bitten. I thought I was setting the record for longest run of a 2002 not having this issue. The loud beeping everytime I open the door and the warning on the dash got annoying on day 1 of the 2 weeks I lived w/ it before I had time to drop off the truck during normal business hours and get a loaner.
