Our dealer has two 07 G55's and a G500. they all have new lights, wheels, foglights, radio and all the buttons look like they came out of a E or S class.. If the price of this and the 2007.5 will be the same then just wait a few months, they tend to make improvements in batches with the G, besides these must be the first lot out, after a few more lots the workforce will have more experience with any new bits and pieces -> better quality

Bo Charlie - 4/19/2007 1:05 AM Dealer says the '07 1/2 will be here in a few months. Well that's kinda weird, because in 4 or 5 months the 2008's will be coming out, right?

They continue to be available up through today. MBUSA really didn't want anything to do the G from the beginning (and still doesn't); and they want even less to do with a diesel version.

G270 CDI - 2.7 liter / 5 cylinder G400 CDI - 4.0 liter / V8 G320 CDI - 3.0 liter / V6 I was pretty sure that it is only the G320CDI now. Interestingly a friend has been trying to buy one older than 6 months to escape tax but when ever he phones up an MB G specialist dealer to see if they have any in slightly used ones in stock they brush him off and tell him to search the classifieds.

Also I should point out that these are OFFICIAL MB Germany Geländewagen Centers... at least that's what it says on www.mercedes-benz.de So if they won't give you good service who will?!?!?
