every once in a while the topic of G flex (and complaints about the G's limitation) comes up.
The picture below underlines my argument for leaving the shocks at home when yoy wat maximum wheel travel (on slow trails you have no need for shocks anyway).

That's the spirit! Wheels on the ground are fun!

Although the G looks like it has dual shocks one inside the springs and another behind the front springs and inboard to the rear springs.

I'll keep the dampeners (shocks) albeit long ones, I've come off some vertical steps very slowly that would have had me slamming the sliders repeatedly if the spring was not dampened. No dampeners seems dangerous to me!
