My former G had the said carrier and according to the EPC is PN A4608901144. Surprisingly, it's listed at just € 139.56 + VAT Edited by mortinson 4/30/2007 4:01 PM

It'll shift the tires position a little from the stock location, but it'll fit right on. Not so long ago i finished a job to fabricate a hybrid from the two so that my spare is flipped and in the high position of the current mount (current stock mounts have 2 positions... delivered in the low position for better rear visibility... if there's such a thing).

The price: $20 US which I guess will be the cost of shipping and packaging, as I have no use for it. It is cluttering the garage. I DO NOT have the three bolts and three spacers. I will gladly send it to you. If you do not have the door with the mounting holes, I think you are not going to be able to use it. Let me know. gdinkins@triad.rr.co We can work out the details after you contact me.

Maybe I’m a miser, but that’s a bitter pill to swallow. For the cost of five 21mm (?) extra long bolts, corresponding nuts, a flat drainpipe collar, and a piece of pipe (all less that $25, and pipe was free), I fabricated my own, which four years later remains solid as a rock and supports the weight of the tire and three trail bikes. I know we all do not have the same availability of resources at our disposal, but I think we can cobble something together to respond to this. I had drawn up some diagrams for this w/all details; if I still have and can find them, I am going to scan and post.

(It weighs about 10 pounds.) Is there an import duty on a package shipped by US Postal Service to Canada with no value?
