Could of been oil left in the intake, maybe from sitting so long needed to run in. Well 500 miles and it has lost 2 quarts. Should I replace, the Turbo has almost 0 miles on it though that is what upsets me. Would there be any other reason for oil to be coming out of the turbo ?

You have a connection or seal issue. Clean it with brakekleen and try to find the source of the leak. A healthy diesel will go through a quart in 3000 miles. The oil loss you describe is serious and should be addressed by the company that installed it if it is new. -Dai

A correctly built new/rebuilt diesel motor will not use oil. The rebuilder needs to address the problem. -Dai
