Travel pics - look what I saw

I found this truck in Mozambicque the other day - thought it may interest the brethren.

Those are goats up there - the truck driver uses them as currency between north Moz. where there are still trees and goats, and the south

45 gallon of diesel is 35 1/2 goats, so you pay 36 and get back a kid? (that's a small goat!)

The goats are tied onto the truck by a short piece of rope. I took the pic. at a police roadblock (of which there are hundreds in Moz. - every settlement has a roadblock and everyone must stop and go through a routine which often involves "gifts") Whether the goats smooth the way past the police I cannot tell - but then the trucker doesn't have enough goats for them all.

I had to go some distance away as cameras make the police nervous and they have automatic weapons, sunglasses etc and I have children and am a chicken...
