Therefore, the new facility will combine context-sensitive design with colors that complement the environment."

They also sent a powerful message to Louisiana, namely New Orleans: Get your act together or you'll never recruit industry. I wonder if them being a finalist was the mother of all appeasements. I talked to a Louisiana resident just this week and he said Nagin and Blanco are complete failures in seeing that Federal Disaster money has been spent wisely and carefully.

Looks like it will be a green steel plant. These guys will supply the 300 MW the plant is looking for: http://www.southerncompany.com/planetpower/index.asp An interesting concept at the nearby Big Cajun II power plant is to make diesel from the exhaust. http://www.snl.com/irweblinkx/file.aspx?IID=4057436&FID=3653886

ThyssenKrupp supplies many carmakers. On the W163 they supplied the box section frame with two longitudinals and tripple crossmembers. They also make stainless steel, with the tradename NIROSTA. That's on the roof of the Chrysler building in NYC since 1929. http://www.thyssenkruppnewusplant.com/history/ Edited by Wolfgang 5/12/2007 10:18 AM
