Recaro makes a lot of different seats - for many different acar makers several different ones were available for the G - even the "stock" seat are made by Recaro so, find 2 of the "unusual" ones and buy them

When I am complete with my reupholster of the front seats to original plaid mine will look just like that...non-matching recaro seats with matching factory upholstery. http://www.pointedthree.com/disc/forums/showthread.php?tid=6798&pos... Posts: 2230 | Re: recaro seat . i will also re trim the recaros on my cab with the original wide grey check this summer. one thing i must say is that my non original recaros in the cab are a better fit for my big arse! but recaros are a must in the G! I am suprised they werent offered in the 463,as recaro make the best seat in the world.

I think this has been discussed before but what's an average price for recovering Recaros? I know there was a thread about sourcing the fabric. Any suggestions to give the upholsterer when doing it? My drivers seat has started to separate between the fabric and vinyl, from getting in and out 25 times a day! Also is Steenbuck the place to go for the fabric for my 86 300GD with Recaros? I have the common black and grey check, but didn't see anything that looked exactly like it on Steenbucks website. Jonathan
