A4638000452 vs. A0008000052

Does someone know - what's the difference? Both are Headlamp Level Control units.

Last, but not least - in what part is this Level unit listed in EPC - searched for a long time but didn't found it

RE: A4638000452 vs. A0008000052

A 000 800 00 52 is/was used on the W460 and W461 G's.

The A 463 800 04 52 is/was used on the W463 series.

Attached is a .jpg file of where to find the part in the EPC.

Well assuming you are putting it into your G, you want A4638000452. This system is hydraulic and completely different from the other MB adjusters. It is located on the EPC under section 82-electrical system - front lighting.

This system is not easy to install. The biggest problem comes in trying to get the pump part (the part that you twist to set the height) through the rubber tunnel next to the brake booster. It is like giving birth in reverse.

Under no circumstances should you try to cut and then re-attach the hoses. It won't work. I tried restoring the original system that the Federalizer cut and that proved to be impossible. Each fix worked for a short while and then quit again.

Well anyway - seems that there's something "screwed up" with 463321 in EPC - no section 82, no subsection 175. If i navigate as shown in your picture, eurotruck - i find front light very easily

Well, looking at that section of the EPC, I'd say you are right: it is pretty messed up. As an alternative, you might want to look at the 463320 section which is the SWB version of your truck. Interestingly that shows yet another part number: A4638000252. If I were you I'd use the ..0452 number. That would be the most recent revision. I know it works with the much improved (2001-2006)ZKW headlamps (A4638200059?), because I installed these parts together.

Yup. Bought same ZKW headlights and thought that will change level adjuster (that is non working model rite now ) same time. On german ebay saw new 461 ones on sale. And thats where my question came from.
