Back from Moab

Ok, so I left the G at home, and yes it's a Mog in the G section, sorry. Were all still lovers of Moab right?

RE: Back from Moab

Sorry, but who said I was having any problem? How much air do you think I'm running Harold?

RE: Back from Moab

James,

I did not assume you had any problems - I said it would be easier with less air.
I have no clue how much air you are running - fact is that the tires look like they have much more than I would run them.
However, you may run bias plys (I can't tell) and they don't flex well at any psi.

RE: Back from Moab

Naa, actually they worked great as they were. They are Super Swamper Irok radials. I ran the fronts at 10psi and the rears at 7psi. I tried the fronts at around 7 and they tended to fold over when decending ledges at some of the switch backs (so as not to plunge off any one of the many Moab ledges ). Since the bulk of the weight on this 404 in in the nose, I took the fronts up to 10psi, and the formula was fantastic. I don't think the photos really show this very well. -James
