| G500 Air Vent Gremlin
Anyone ever have this happen? Every once in a while it feels like my A/C comes on and blows cold from about 2 to 4minutes on it's own. Dial turned to off and at times I have the temp set at 70, but for some reason the air just comes on cold. Anyone else? |

havent had that but i have noticed my ac will pause for like 30 second when the fans kick on....
maybe you accidentley had it on auto

I thought the same thing at first and double checked, but everything was off. Maybe it's just one those "special" features installed to keep me on my toes. |

There are two components that control the AC and heat.
Mine have failed twice.
Problem is, it takes a Mbenz Mechanic to determine which is failing. They have a history and they can determine which is the bad part.
I think it was the regulator on my G that failed. It does strange things when it starts to go, just as you described

Thanks guys for the heads up. I'm taking it in since it's under warranty and have the dealer take care of it. Although I'm sure their first response will be "we can't replicate the problem" as it always is. |

I think they will fix it. It is a known problem, and it is money in their pockets for the repair. |
