Chuck,

another flawed poll.

Headline says "G-Wagon drivers- Age" - so I marke my age today.
Then I read you are after my age when I purchased my first G-Wagon.
Screwed up my entry.

19 years old, my first G was in 1998 with a blue 1989 Puch Montana 230GE.

I got lucky, My age now and the age when I purchased my first G are the same - 41. I had a diversion with a Scout for a while, then a Vanagon Syncro... I feel like I've finally graduated to the G!

I was 24 when I bought the G. But I was a little short on cash at the time and didn't want a note out on it, I don't like debt. Pops wanted to use it too so he threw a few $ in the ring for it, he was 59. So add 24 + 59 and you get 83, divided by 2 for average age and you get 41 1/2.

I was 22 when I purchased mine last year. Consolidated from a bottomless pit and a daily driver to what I thought was something more practical. Fast forward a year and I have taken on a daily driver once again to save at the pump but have managed to not dump any money into the G.
