280GE engine power/torque/revs relationship diagram

Any ideas if such graph/diagram exists and where it could possibly be found?

RE: 280GE engine power/torque/revs relationship diagram

Time to learn how to use Google:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_M110_engine
http://www.g4rce.net/engl/models-w460.html

The mid 80's sales brochure had a torque curve for the 280GE - unfortunately I am a couple
of thousand miles away from my other office and can't post a scan.

RE: 280GE engine power/torque/revs relationship diagram

Lots of places give the peak numbers.  They're nearly useless IMHO in comparing how an engine performs in real life.  For teh full rev range curves, no need to even google.  Just search this forum.

Down near the bottom of that thead in one of my posts is the graph from the MB manual that compared the 617 to 617A motor, and I drew on the torque curve from the M110 to compare that one as well.  If you need the exact curve, it's in the M110 engine manual for the G (that's where I got my reference for the hand drawing).  It's different from that of the sedan motor.

I recall this from the "other" site. I don't know if this is what you are looking for:

Thanks Dave and Patrick, that's exactly what I have been looking for-curves.

Dave,
The reason I asked was my dispute with a friend on transplanting civilian M110 engine. I thought the G version has a different torque curve and you in a way confirmed it. How does the civilian 110 torque look like? Especially low rev response, shape?
