| my 02G500 is for sale.
Im moving on something bigger for now. The plan is to get a 2010 model or what ever the last year will be. So for now my G is for sale. Figured i post it on here before e bay.
2002 G500
Black on Black.
76,650 miles.
All electrical problems fixed with last brain transplant. (@58K miles)
all service done on time, and oil changes ever 5K.
Aftermaket stuff:
Tinted windows.
MB brush gaurd in black
Trailer hitch.
It will also come with new brakes, rotors, and pads in the box and brand new tires, ( ill have to order them)

$36,500 with all the other stuff, ORC springs, head light gaurds, Bead locks wheels, mud tires, reversed tire carrier, sliders, german signals etc...

You have fought a long and noble fight and I think you have won. Hope you do not miss the ol' girl too much. One suggestion, if and when you dive back in to this G world of ours try a '99 or '00 instead of a newer model. It is everything our '02's were supposed to be and weren't and they are still better than the newest ones. Stay well and happy trails. |

Im sure i will miss it, its been fun and everthing actully has been working correctley for the last 20K miles.
To be honest with you guys our insurance business has taken off, I do 98% our the field underwriting, ( i go check out properties, buildings and homes before we decide if they are a risk we want to take,)
This is causing me to put about 2500 miles a month on it now, You figure in i get 215-230 miles on a $70 fill up im blowing a LOT of cash usually 600-700 a month on fuel not to mention the fact people are not amused when you show up in a Mercedes to inspect there stuff and in the down town area (bad area's of town) it really doesent go over well.
But at the end of the day, you guys know the market on these thing... the people that want one and have the money buy new and the people that want them and dont have the money cant get them financed, that goes for all Mercedes and bmws for the most part...
Ive alos looked at buying something and keeping the G, but then that would give me 5 cars to insure and pay taxes on... |
