RE: Arginetina army Gs

Strange but true ,
If its what it claims to be an ex-Falklands war , G has turned up for sale in the UK fully rebuilt .
Advertised in one of the military vehicle magazines
love to know where that has been hiding ?

Re: Arginetina army Gs

cliff. can you not ring them up as an undercover tyre kicker and find out a little more about it, would be interesting to know, I would do it myself but have no knowledge of military stuff, unlike you and billy boy. now the chevy next to it would make a nice tow truck for my G.

The advert doesn't state that it is from the Falklands,it says it is ex-Argentinian,it doesn't even say it's ex-military. It has just states that the 25th anniversary is this year, and that it is ex-Argentinian,and leaves the rest to your imagination!

Well spotted Dave, an aside, just back from Bucharest, looked a lot like the old haunts in the east with a few more expensive cars about.

I dont any of the interior, but here are a couple I have.
As soon as I have any of the interior, I'll post it. You can imagine that is quite spartan.
Mine did not come with AC, but have all the other traditional options, webasto, etc.
Interesting, it comes with a different light switch, that includes de possibility of using what are called Troops light, that are basically dimmed lights so the "enemy" cannot spot you.

Regards, Fernando

Is this the type of lightswitch that you have?

DSC01624

I can see that you have 1 of those troops light in front. Were there two originally?

RE: Arginetina army Gs

As far as I can tell the Argentina contract was the first major military to come out of Graz , followed by the Norwegian 240GDs ,
same military spec light switch , slave start plug mounted under the heater in the cab ,
power steering , light gaurds .both difflocks .
yes it will of had two black out lights fitted .

Re: Arginetina army Gs

Later military versions have an other type of lightswitch, placed in the same location. Looks more civilian.
