| Hi from Tasmania (ML270 and 300TD)
My name is Prem from Tasmania (Tassie) southern most and island state of Australia.
My wife and I have a 1980 300TD (W123) and a 2000 ML270 (W163).
The 300TD is much more reliable than the ML270, and the parts for the ML270 are expensive compared to othe Mercs, so here is hoping I can find some better options. Just fouond out today need a new elctronic switch part number 163 720 26 35, it will cost about $Aus700 to have it installed, so all and any help gratefully accepted. |

I too have a 300TD (been through several) and now have an ML270 as well. Only had the ML for a week and it is in for work (warranty) so I'm back in the 300TD. Much rather be driving the ML.
