My life long impression of German culture is being rocked here..climbing into the "Popemobile" surrounded by caution tape!? Heinz help me out here! Jonathan

Jonathan I feel like I told this story here before... maybe... But anyway, about crossing the street- My sister lived in Berlin for many years and if you jaywalked, sometimes people would yell "child-killer" at you. Confused on how jaywalking could be related to the murder of children, it was explained to her that the the fear was that if children saw you jaywalk, they might also think it was OK to jaywalk and as a result, get hit by a car. Interesting right?

After they had some adult(s)climbing in for an impromptu photo op, they quickly taped off and locked the car. The next morning when there were very few people around, I asked for and was given special permission for a supervised photo op. I didn't see the game on, was there a Notre Dame touchdown?
