Has anybody had a chance to check out the new C300? I went to look at them as soon as they hit the lots, and people were swarming all over the display. I got to sit in it for a few minutes, and thought it was great. I would choose the luxury over the sport package though, the sport interior ust has too much silver stuff. I've tried to get a better look at it but they sell them before the trucks even arrive. The guy told me they didn't have any on the lot, then I found two loaner C300's that they didn't tell me about! I also found a 1979 300TD that looked like the car of my dreams, not for sale of course, but that's another story. It looks sooo much better than the previous 5 years with their squashed oval headlights and smooth curves. I can't wait to drive one and see if you can still feel the road through the steering wheel.

Apparently you can get the sport with the black birdseye maple trim, which is a nice compromise of sport and luxury.

That interior isn't from the same car. The sport interior has some chrome stuff instead of wood, and fake leather is standard. I've also seen some sport models where the owner put the regular hood ornament on it. |
