RE: New CL

Looks sharp, just like the AutoBild previews indicated.

They botched up the console-dash though, similar to the 221.

Too bad about that

Re: New CL

I still prefer the previos one though. This one looks like a CLK or something.

The C125 is still the best..

Great find zeq!

I dunno, I think my all time favorite CL is the W126 SEC's, or W140 CL's. They are AWESOME!.

Re: New CL

The C140 and W140 looks the same IMO except less two doors and the front shape. The interior is completely the same. I remember entering in one of them. The dials, seats and even the shift knob are same.

So i prefer the W125 shape. Something different.

PS- I know I can never have one

That's actually why I like them. Quality in a coupe, IMO. I have driven an S600 Coupe before, and it was very nice.

Yea, aren't there less than 15 in Brunei, or something?

RE: New CL

Nice looking car, but a larger version of the CLK. I dont know, but I prefer the old classic, elegant shapes. Like the 1988-1995 300CE W124. They are timeless, and not nearly as complicated. I have a 1990, and at 16 years old, it still draws attention. These new shapes just dont cut it for me.

Yes. Got to love the twin turbo. It was something like this.

The engine did sturggle a bit like it almost died when balancing the first gear and the clutch. I think I too spoil with Auto.

I did took the pic of the car during test drive. It's lost during the PC reformat. That was in 2003

Re: New CL

I think it looks really good. I expect a bit of copy catting from the S-Class, especially in the upper end like the CL. The only thing I don't like is what appears to be a complete move over to the steering wheel mounted shifting. Probably a Desgino CL, which means it looks very awesome.

The Fairlady Z is most comonly known as the 300ZX here in America. If you say 300Z then people think you are talking about the new Z, but if you say 300ZX then people know you are talking about the Fairlady.

No.The BMW salesman told me. He tells me everything. The car is ex-royal car and being garaged since 1990 and the owner bought it in 2004. He even shows me the quatation(sp) lists to repairs. Spares for the 8 ser. are hard to find he says. I'm not serious in buying that actually. I just want to feel the V12 car.

I see. I thought the nissan 300ZX is the 80's version. I really like the 300zx 90s version one. But I prefer 4 doors cars.

The 300ZX/Fairlady Z was built between 1984-1999.
