Resonable rates, HONEST and great work. The kind of place where the customer is not chased out of the shop. Customers frequently "hang out" even when their car is not being worked on. Can't recommend him enough!

He is my FACTORY service. He is the only one in the greater NY area I would let touch a G.

Super slow and not the cheapest, they are the most honest and knowledgeable MB shop around. The will refuse to work on your car unless they know what is wrong and can fix it. (like I said: real Germans…)

Bend, OR 97701 541.389.0464 Owner Ron Welton is an honest guy, has access to rare parts and provides excellent service. I just had the plugs and injectors replaced on my 84 280 GE and I am happy. Also (gasp) I have had good experiences with the local MB Dealer although never had any service performed by them.

The shop rates are higher than you average mechanic, but they were excited to work on the G and said that they have other clients with older ones that they work on too. They were reasonable and thorough and in every way showed a lot of care. The mechanic even shook my hand and thanked me for letting him work on it! Everything they did was perfect. He said he'd be happy to work on more. Now if I could just smoothe out that ride....

G again someday Posts: 49 | Re: G Service in DC area I live in Northern Virginia (Ashburn, formerly in McLean) and have had my '95 G320 since early 2001. For non-trivial repairs I put up with the five hour journey and entrust it to Wolfgang and Alex at Wolfgang's Inc. in Tenafly, NJ (up north of the GW Bridge, almost to the NY state line). They're more expensive than your average shop too... but they're in no way an "average" shop and are just as picky about how the truck runs as I am. Worth the trip.

Larry Billing works out of his home (semi retired now) in Castleton, Va. which is not too far outside Warrenton. He's excellent and seems to know the G inside and out.
